Manchester Restaurants
03rd April 2009
There is a wide selection of restaurants in Manchester, where we can enjoy lunch or dinner during our date together. Here are just a few of my favourites:
Gaucho
2a St. Marys Street, Manchester, M3 2LB
Tel: 0161 8334333
Specialising in Argentinean cuisine, Gaucho is renowned for its steaks. With the menu comes an explanation of each cut and recommendations for the best ways to enjoy them, which all adds to the experience and enjoyment.
With gorgeous black and white decor and excellent service, Gaucho offers sophisticated surroundings and gorgeous food.
Grill On The Alley
5 Ridgefield, Manchester, M2 6EG
Tel: 0161 833 3465
With a wide variety on the menu, Grill On The Alley is an ideal place to share lunch or dinner. It's the only place in Manchester, that I'm aware of, which serves Kobe beef. ( There are various qualities which determine Kobe beef, including the herd being fed on beer and hand-massaged from birth to improve the taste and texture!)
San Carlo
40 King St West, Manchester, M3 2WY
Tel: 0161 834 6226
One of Manchester's finest Italian restaurants, San Carlo offers an extensive menu, including traditional Italian cuisine as well as a variety of fish dishes and a great selection of 'daily specials'.
Ideal for both lunch and dinner dates, the atmosphere is lively and the service is good.
Stock Restaurant
The Stock Exchange, 4 Norfolk Street, Manchester, M2 IDW
Tel: 0161 839 6644
Located within the former Stock Exchange, Stock Restaurant has become popular and is an ideal place to enjoy an intimate dinner.
With a fine selection of Italian dishes, as well as vegetarian, meat and seafood, the menu provides great choice
