Edinburgh commuters given green enticements
11th May 2010
A bike charity has been given £750,000 in funding to encourage commuters to use greener ways of travelling to and from work in Edinburgh. The Bike Station is offering free bus tickets, two-week bike loans, cycle training, free bike services and travel advice.
Its project - called A Better Way to Work - says greener ways of travelling are "cheaper and quicker".
The money came from the Scottish Government's Climate Challenge Fund.
